This seemed to work - I have 8188 files in MovieInfo - most of them thumbnails but a bunch of empty databasebuild files - and one 13MB populated one.

Yup sounds like it worked! Excellent! The program will automatically delete any log files older than 10 days, so you don't have to delete them if you don't want to.

If you'd like to help beta test the second monitor thing as well, I'll be posting them in a bit.

Hi J,

Here is the first beta (make sure you replace the ini file). Please run this and open all the forms:

Ctrl-O - options screen
(under options menu, click the "Edit List" button)
Ctrl-S - search screen
Ctrl-I - Queue management

While watching a movie:
F10 - info screen
Ctrl-B - Change screen resolution (make sure it changes the proper screen and when you exit it should reset the screen resolution to what it was before)

Let me know if all of these are showing up on the proper screen and let me know if the ctrl-B is working properly.

My desktop has bios death - I'll test this on the laptop with extra screen

The Test version just sat with the installation 2 of 2 screen and nothing going on - had to kill the process.

I ran it again, and it asked if I'd like to do an update - so I did - and this puppy crashed instantly:

Now Task Manager did say it was running in 32bit mode.

Wow, sorry to hear that. The tinkering never seems to stop does it...much to the dismay of my wife

The "update" would have been an older version. When you run test versions it doen't recognize that the test version is newer. so you can click no on the update prompt while running the tests.

I just realized i didn't incorporate the last update into the main program file. so it probably found a missing movie from your queue and went to download it and crashed due to the problem discovered earlier. I'll send you a newer file shortly.

And the question of the hour, did the progam show up on the second monitor?
