LiveTV Freezes Are Back on Clients

Hmm, you shouldn't have to do this, but on your client, if you view the Settings->Misc screen, and set it to the same path as the server users, does it help with the deletion of buffer files after viewing live tv from the client? Create the same directory on the client if you need to be able to set it. ie, you don't have to point it to same directory that the server is using, just the same path. So if the server is set to use c:\myrecordings, then try creating a c:\myrecordings on the client and set the client's live tv buffer directory to that on the Settings->Misc screen. Hopefully you understand what mean?

It streams now but I had real troubles playing in-progress with two quick hangs like I've seen with live tv, so I stopped it and playing the recording was fine so I don't think it was the file itself. Logs for all three attached.

Other tests have been better.

I decided to try the analog tuner, and nextpvr hangs at an app error stream/reader logs are normal.

So what's the status? Did anything work?

I think the nshared.dll and unmanaged.dll will fix the problem for some users. It fixed it on the test machine I had set up.

Martin still seems to have some other problem going on though, which I'm still trying to get to the bottom of.
