They didn't change the structure. The listings are not available and it's anyone's guess as to whether or not they are going to be available again.

That sucks, because I can't get guide stuff to download from SchedulesDirect at all. I keep getting an error even though I followed the steps in the wiki to the tee.

What error do you get trying to download from SchedulesDirect?

I found what I was doing wrong - I missed the line about the patch.

You probably get that alot.

It looks like no more Yahoo listings. It only worked once for me.

so, does that mean we're done? Does the other ap based on Yahoo still work? sorry, I wasn't following that thread as this worked so well without having to add more overhead. sad.

No app based on the Yahoo data works, not even Go 4 TV itself. Unfortunately, it looks like we're done.

For the price of listings now there is really not much point anyway:

Schedules Direct: ( http://www.schedulesdirect.org )
Full listings data - $15 for 6 months

CTL: ( http://ctpvr.com/ctl.html or https://cttvlistings.net/ ) NOTE: OTA and Canada listings are not available at this time.
Listings Lite (Includes: Show times, Title, Sub-title, Description) - Yearly Plan: $12.00
Full Listing No Cast & Crew - Yearly Plan: $20.00
Full Listing No Cast & Crew - Monthly Plan: $2.70
Full Listings with Cast/Crew - Yearly Plan: $30.00
Full Listing with Cast & Crew - Monthly Plan: $3.50

It's ridiculous that this info isn't available for free. And I don't buy the anti commercial skipping excuse. That's nonsense.

If they were seriously losing revenue from skipping, there's no way they could make that up by selling listings; not unless they were charging ***insane*** amounts.

A recent internal study done by NBC confirms that ad skipping doesn't seem to be a problem:
The most recent shocker unveiled in the NBC Universal study was that households without DVRs skip more TV commercials than those with DVRs.
There could be all sorts of reasons for this. When do you take a leak or get a snack? During the commercials, if you don't have a DVR.

I'm guessing the real issue is the fact that these bastards have a monopoly on the listings industry:

The information is available for free. What you are paying for is the information compiled into one convenient source.
