Thanks,

Glad it's working!
Sorry for the slow reply I check in less frequently these days, problems traced back to I-xmltv have been few and far between. Smile
If something looks questionable in the guide, you can search TVGuide.xml & xmltv.xml for the title to see if the problem is on the I-xmltv (TVGuide), zap2it (xmltv), or gbpvr (the TV Guide plugin) end. The super bowl was marked new “*” in my guide.

Enjoy!
Jim

ok its working but my offset is so wrong..i am about 3 hours off... where do i change this setting?

Carlito,
Thanks for the help!

resnostyle,
If you entered +0000 as prompted during the setup but the listing times in the guide are wrong, it’s most likely because of incorrect windows time zone settings.
Check your windows date and time properties.

If the problem is with the I-xmltv setup, click on --configure.bat in the I-xmltv folder.
It will allow you to enter the information again and will download new listings.

If the new indicator is not marking shows until midnight the proper switch settings are:
Eastern = /tn/-5
Central = /tn/-6
Mountain = /tn/-7
Pacific = /tn/-8
Hawaii = /tn/-10

I live in the central TZ and use /tn/-8
This setting marks shows as new until 2:00AM the following day.

ok i have the system up and running although it will not download the new listings!

when i run updateepg it says
Code:
downloading listings. <Non-incremental>
During this process the screen will remain blank!
You can montior......
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
The system cannot find the file specified.
then it contiunes what i believe is an update.... but the listing doesnt change.

It’s hard to say for sure but it sounds like you didn’t wait long enough and tried a second time while gbpvr was still loading TVGuide.xml (from the first update).
Reboot and try again.

Note:
You only click UpdateEPG.bat one time, when you first configure I-xmltv.
After that, with UpdateEPG.bat in the gbpvr folder, use GBPVR to update the epg.
If you manually update the epg from inside gbpvr, it is complete when the "Updating EPG" message goes away.
This can take some time.

Hope this helps.
Jim

Who calls UpdateEPG.bat in the gbpvr dir? It's not listed anywhere as a batch file that GBPVR will execute.

Oops, I was looking at "Processing Bats" under "Tips & Trix". I'll go eat some more stupid pills.

Per this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=24961 I'm having a problem with reoccuring recordings not scheduling. Sub suspects my EPGUpdate.bat.

sub Wrote:I'm pretty sure this updateEPG.bat file is the cause of your problem. It is emptying the listings etc, without taking into account whether the listings can be succesfully retreived.

Try going without it for a while. The built in logic is much smarter.
Any suggestions?
What, me worry?
