OK, spoke too quick. I now get 0 length mpg2 files when selecting the cyberlink mux. If I select "Microsoft DVR-MS" I am back to producing dvr-ms files of appropriate length. I reinstalled the Intervideo MUX and also get 0 length mpg2 files.

Not sure what else I can do at this point.

Maybe try some other versions of the Cyberlink mux, and hope you get lucky. Otherwise you're stuck with DVR-MS.

OK, went and found "VERSION: 5.0.0727" which seems to be producing a growing file for me.

Edit: Well sometimes it records, but mostly I still get 0 length files. I most often get it to record when I reboot during a recording. This seems like a conflict on my system of some sorts. I may end up finding time for a fresh install of Windows.

I am using TS mux and it's working fine for me. Install K-lite codec pack (free) full instal and can play .ts files on every player perfectly.

In adition, with ts mux, I can record simultaniusly 4 shows on same channel (Croatia).

Conversion to xvid works fine usualy, but sometimes it gets out of sync with audio, but this is also the case when converting from mpeg so it is problem of ffmpeg converter.

With .ts mux client works fine with file shareing.

I tried all muxes offered, and only ts works fine for my configuration.

GBPVR rules!
