I've taken the liberty of changing the buttons to blue, and making the unselected grey buttons much darker, so the text is easily visible.

If you like the green buttons, do a search for #0000C0 in the skin.xml files, and change it back to #2BA301. There's also the option for red buttons, using #A13A11 (or any other colour you want) Big Grin

Torque Wrote:@McBainUK - I looked at your log, the issue is that you're not using a .95.xx version of GBPVR, which supports the BaseSkin.xml file (common definitions of text types, buttons, etc.) since it crapped out when looking for ScreenName text type for the main menu.

Can someone send me a .95 msi? Smile

Quote:@Sub - I put that line in the main menu skin and didn't see that it did anything while music is played. It's supposed to go down with all the other special elements like the clock, vapanel, nextrecording elements, right?
Below is a screenshot of what I was getting at. It only shows when music playing (but not on an MVP).

I have tried Your new skin on my laptop, and love it. Really, really slick. Its actually the first skin that I really felt like I should get the VA Panel working for. I normally like to have task images but your skin lays out the info on the screen so well the task images are not required.

Nice color schemes, simple layout, good back ground's. I'm looking forward to trying it on my TV.

Requests:

1. If possible I would love to see you finish the "MY" series plugin's skinning as well as Xrecord. My impression is these are widely used plugin's.

2. Keep up the great work.

i like the changes, and i'd like to second the above request for MY* plugins support. Also, the non-selected buttons are still that white on grey scheme, as previously stated: something with more contrast would be a lot easier to read from across the room.

i actually wouldnt mind having the blue as unselected, and the green as the selected menu item (or something of that nature).

Just open the xml in notepad, find the corresponding #xxxxxx for grey, and change it to anything you want (the blue for example is #0000C0, green is #2BA301).
If you feel that's beyond your ability, what colours DO you want?
I'll fix one up for you.
