I'm thinking pretty much it's normal then. My box has a 300gig drive on it, and already has 140gig of shows (100+) recorded and 60-70 in the pending list, 6 days of guide data on 50+ channels, etc, etc. I'll stop worring and enjoy it.

Ah one last update - I set up the automatic restart of gbpvr.exe at 4am daily, and that seems to be the ticket. I still don't know what is driving the memory up, but it looks like it may be XRecord, and archiving shows... when I archive a show, the memory use jumps up even to 500+mb and never comes back down.

There are programs like ramidle and cacheman to name a few that can clean just the ram when idle, too.

Its an issue with .net, not regular system memory, not getting released.
