No.

Oh well...I'll tinker with it in a few days.

Maybe I'll check back to see if someone else can connect to VBox Cat's eye USB in the future.

No I don’t think anything is holding onto the Vbox device. MCE is not on. It does not start when windows starts and I've rebooted a few times.

With some TV card drivers, the card can still be "in use" even when the MCE interface isn't running. Try stopping the "Media Center Receiver Service". This shouldn't be necessary with most cards these days, as they make provisions for this, but you never know.

Hey thanks...That got me further!

The reception light came on my VBox USB tuner.

But now I get just a black window when I try to watch live TV. I've tried a few channels. No error and no picture.

We're getting closer.

(Follwed by a .Net exception).

I have the same problem.
I'm using ATI HDTV wonder.
I have EPG source set (not sure if it matters)
I'm not sure which step I missed, here is the log.

Dont click the 'Map digital channels to EPG channels' button if you're using an ATSC device. Instead, you have to manually set up your channels following the instructions listed here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

Yes I did follow the instruction. However, after I entered channels manually, nothing happened. I've tried, click update EPG then go GB-PVR, or click OK button then go GB-PVR. Anyway, I tried different combinations and I'm not getting right. I get message from GB-PVR says that I need to set up EPG or something (I can't remember exact message now). I actually tried mapping channel the last. So, I was figuring that I must missed some steps.
Anyway, after I enter channel #s, what I need to do? How do I save those channels? It seems every time I clicked something, all the channels I entered were gone. (I spend at least 30 minutes doing so, because I had to do it again and again).

Post a screenshot of your capture source, so I can see the channel list to check you've entered the tuning information in the correct format.

All you should have to do is click the OK button. Then the OK again to close the config app. If you start the config app again, those same channels should be listed, with the same tuning info shown in your screenshots. If its not there, then zip and attach all the config.exe.log files including the -1, -2, -3 files, and I'll see if there was any error saving the data.
