Its not supported by myself, and the original author is no longer here to support it - but if you're lucky, it might work for you.

Thanks for the reply!

Might be worth a look for the HDTV Wonder crowd...

I have an HDTV Wonder Card working with both analog and digital. I also have an All in wonder 9000 working. The 9000 is my primary card, the second recording source is the digital side and the third is the analog side of the HDTV Wonder. This setup has been working great since I started this thread. If you want me to post a jpg of my analog setup let me know.

To setup the analog side of the HDTV Wonder, first install the softwarerecorder plugin. Then create a capture source. My settings are attached. I had to get these just right or it wouldn't work. I tried it with the S-video input and a cable box but found that fairly often, the audio didn't work and I got loud static. If I then retuned the cable box through GVPVR, then the audio was clear. I have since changed to the "no channel changer required" and it does it's own tuning.

I use this card to watch live TV on my laptop as well as for multiple recordings at the same time. My 9000 I use with S-video and the cable box as the primary for recording. I have trouble with the digital side keeping a good signal throughout a recording.

Make sure you install the ATI Avivo Encoder before you start. I downloaded the modified version that was mentioned in a GBPVR thread in the past. You should also install the ATI software for the HDTV Wonder card (This will make sure the card is working correctly).

Esams81,

You need to populate the tuning requests for each channel manually using TSReader. Otherwise, the card won't work because it doesn't know how to tune.

Bigbus

Should I writeup a tutorial on where to get the settings from TSReader and where I inputted them into the tuning requests? I could do it over the weekend if anyone wants it.

Thanks for the settings bigbus01!

This is working for me in LiveTV in LivePreview mode without Time-Shift. If I de-select LivePreview mode (in the config app) to get Time-Shift, then I get sound but no video.

Any ideas?

Thanks again bigbus01.

I'll look at it tonight. With the settings I posted I get Time-shift with audio.

I poked around in config and got it working. I can now use timeshift and get both audio and video! Its like getting a new SD tuner for free when I was only expecting the HD tuner of the HDTV Wonder to work with GBPVR!

Is there anything that can be done to improve the picuture quality? It doesn't look as good as the picture from my PVR150 or M150? Any settings or adjustments possible?
