Some questions to keep in mind when look for the pattern:

- is it season recording, or a one-off recording from the tv guide?
- if it is a season recording, is it the very first episode? (ie, master recording

1: yes, season recording
2: no, some later episode
I can see it possibly happening in sheiks scenario above, with one-off recordings, but your scenario seems less likely to me. Next time it happens zip and attach the logs and the gbpvr.db3, and I'll take a look.

Well, it happened to me again. I don't know if you're still interested in my files, but you can download gbpvr.db3 and my xmltv.xml file at http://www.xs4all.nl/~degit/gbpvr.zip

I've recorded "24", which was broadcasted by RTL5 on sunday at 22:30, but the name in the recording section says "RTL Tuin magazine".

To find the cause, you're going to have to take snapshots of you database every day, and then when it happens I can look at what happened to the data over the course of a week or so.

To do this, create a PostUpdateEPG.bat file in the gbpvr directory. In that batch file, copy the gbpvr.db3 to some other directory. Something like:

Code:
delete c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.8
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.7 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.8
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.6 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.7
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.5 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.6
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.4 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.5
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.3 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.4
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.2 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.3
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.1 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.2
move c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.0 c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.1
copy "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.db3" c:\temp\gbpvr.db3.0

It's happened again, you can find the database files at http://www.xs4all.nl/~degit/gbpvr.db3.zip

I've recorded "U turn" from channel RTL7 on the 19th of July at 10:15 PM, but the program name is "Netwerk", a program on workdays on channel NED2, 08:25 PM.

I've noticed this error today, so the database in the zip-file has been updated twice since recording this program. Hope this helps to find a solution.

I've had this too. I select a program from the tvguide, record it and the incorrect name shows in the pending recordings screen.

I also noticed on one occasion that one of the recordings was flagged as a manual recording...

It doesn't happen all the time though.
