Thanks for your work!

Spartan,

Just installed the new version and seeing a "document.write(formatTime(%bt:%" on the first line of each game then it overwrites the next line (first team. Scores are negative numbers.

Gotcha -- the html changed once again for games underway. Please try 2.0.0.3.

Hey,

I'd love to use this plugin for English Football. However, the generic "soccer" option makes it very hard due to the sheer amount of games this encompasses. Would there be an easy way to include / exclude leagues?? - I don't really want the ticker popping up for games in leagues and competitions I don't care about, as on a Saturday afternoon this would just drive me mad.

e.g. I'm only really interested in knowing the English Premiership and the League 1 scores. I suppose I could try adding all of the teams in the leagues I care about as favourites, but this seems a bit of a hack around, and I'll need to re-do it come promotion / relegation time.

Also, there are occasionally times I want to know the Champion's League scores for example, and these are often buried below a load of foreign and lower division league results that I don't care about.

Idealy for my use, I'd like to select "English Premier League, League 1, Champions League" as the only things the plugin should ever display, then add my favourite teams from those leagues. So, the ticker shows my favourites, but when I look at the entire list, I get only results from the competitions I care about, and nothing from the Egyptian National 3rd Division Wink

Cheers,
Martin.

i second Mart123's request.

Just be wary that league 1 is NOT the same as the "Championship"

for UK footie:

Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2
Intel P4 2500 mhz, 1.25G Ram, XP Home SP2, Maxtor 30Gb and WD 200gb drives, PVR-500MCE, DM500s, dboxrecorder, GBPVR 1.2.9, 2 x wired MVP,

I would love to enhance the plugin to better handle soccer scores, but my time is very limited right now. I recently took a new job which requires me to drive upwards of 90 minutes a day (each way), my house just went up for sale, and that leaves little time for my wife and kids.

If I do come across some free time, I will see what I can do.

Excellant work.

Its the first tim e I have looked at the plugin and was enticed by the basketball scores as my Son is a big fan of American Basketball. you could have knocked me down with a feather when amongst the American Hockey, and Football (American) there was support for Football Association or Soccor as it is known in forign parts :-) (Including New Zealand where Rugby is called Football here)

The point to all of that was I was amazed and pleased that English Soccor was includded, Cheers Mate

Feature Request.

After the posting the last post my son asked me a very valid question. when the scores come in for "Today" (also affect previous scores) when is it they were actually played?

I thought about it for a short while and got totally lost as we are observing Soccor scores that are being played in the GMT/GMT+1 Time Zone and American scores of games that are played in the Amican covered Timezones, However we live in New Zealand where the Time Zone (NZT) is currently 13 hours ahead of GMT. This makes it very hard to work out when today actually refers to.

Is it possible that we could have an indication of the Timezone and time for the scores. Probably not as it hurts my head just trying to work it out when the Present moment can be a difference of 3 days spread over 27 hours.

Wow -- that makes my head hurt too! Again, when I find time, I will see what I can do. In the meantime, my OS drive blew on my media (& MVP) server, so now i have to do a reinstall. Time is even more limited than it was last week!
