Yep, I messed it up. Thought I was being clever.

Here is a patch.

This updates the TV Listings xml file in the Community Skin folder and the 5,6,7 and 8 channel versions in the SkinPlugin.

Tonight I will recompile the installer with the new version.

Patch is also on wiki until I update.

With there being a 16:9 version being developed, I am removing the skinplugin and all those images from the skin install and making it a separate download.

Unless I come up with something better.

The reason is, there will be 4:3 and 16:9 specific files, and they don't play nice with each other.

The SkinPlugin download contains everything that is common and neutral between both versions.

When you install the 4:3 skin, it will install the 4:3 related files and themes, and the same goes for the 16:9 version. Unless you end up with both installed, you would not see the other version files.

2.1.5 Looks great! Two questions:

1) It looks like the new version of XRecord (0.47) does not work with this skin anymore. 0.46d works fine but it looks like some skin changes were made.

2) Is there a way to select a starting theme? For example if I want the entire UI to look like Contour, I have to select each Contour image individually. Is there a way to select Contour as my main theme and then modify the images from there?

This is really excellent work, it is much easier than me hand editing XMLs like before. The WAF increased dramatically when she could change parts of the menus that she didn't like on her own.

You can select a theme by pressing yellow or ctrl-Y. Shortcuts are below the preview image.

Some small skin file changes were necessary to make things more skinnable in the XRecord 0.47 code. You can look at the "Blue" or "Red Sky" skins that come with XRecord for the exact changes. I don't know anything about the community skin but I'll help with what I can.

I will get cracking on the Xrecord .47 fix. If it is easy enough, I will post it tonight.

Fatman_do - Thanks, I appreciate you looking into it. I was a little leery at first of moving up from my custom version of Contour to Community Skin but after I took it for a test drive I was sold. You've got a great tool here!

I noticed that Fla posted a fix to Xrecord to remove more hard coding for skinning:

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25291#2

McBainUK - Thanks, I must have missed that feature! It's always great to ask for a feature enhancement and find its already there.

Is it just me or is GBPVR looking more and more professional every day? My wife is starting to like playing videos from GBPVR instead of Tivo lately.

Ok, Xrecord is giving me fits that I need to spend more time on.

I tried a quick and dirty attempt and it doesn't work. Sorry about the delay.
