I rebooted and tried again, same comship error.
C:\..\..\..\Temp\WERA\.tmp.dir00\conskip.exe.mdmp
C:\..\..\..\Temp\WERA\.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

XP Event viewer shows it as an Event 1000.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Sub, thank you very much for your efforts - great work! Multi-tuner & live-TV-coordination have definitely changed - great!

As others have said, you've done more than hoped for, and quicker.

Best

mcragoe,

comskip is 3rd party, so it is not relevant to gbpvr. I also got an error on one show but not the another. zip your log and send it to jere.jones@gmail.com
with a description (basically it crashed here is the event and log). If you go to http://forums.freytechnologies.com/forums....9&pp=20 you can try older version. Any future problems with comskip post to the commercial advance in the developer section.

You can also try to change detect_method=1 in the comskip.ini

Great Job, as usual, SUB.

One tiny thing I noticed, though. Really, its just cosmetic. I can't set "Source Name" in the "Edit Recording Source" dialog. I can edit it, but it just stays at the default "My Source Name" after I click OK.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Hi Sub,

Did you check the ForceMono-option for this new release as the previous version was still producing stereo-files.

Thanks,
Marnix

Yes, I did look and as far as I can tell it should be producing mono, but its not. I'm not sure why. Sorry.

Jorm,

I was not sure if Sub caused the comskip to not work. I was just testing and sending back what problems I had.

Probably the best thing to do when comskip doesn't work on a file, is to try to manually run comskip against the mpg file. I've seen comskip to a few funny things. I've had a couple of mpg files that would cause it to die eveytime.
