Don't have any type of remote desktop software but I saved a copy of the
original config.xml before I attempted to do the editing.....

Well, the xml file has been edited but not sure why the log file
say it hasn't

Would this help.... I have attached it.... maybe you could do something
with it.

I think you should replace gbpvr.db3 with a copy of empty.db3, then run ChangeDatabase.exe. Then try start the config app and try to do an 'Update EPG'. If you get any errors, post the details for what happened, and a complete set of logs at that time.

Sub......
Sorry for all this trouble...... I really appreciate the help.
I fixed it somehow.......

I just went back and gave myself Admin rights again and then
saved the config.xml file once more.

For some reason, that fixed it...... I took away those rights
and it still works....

I think for some reason when I saved it last time
the Admin rights must have not taken place.

Would it be wise to run the conversion again?

This is strange but true......

I'm still using the old data base but may attempt converting
again and do what I just did.

From the log files did the conversion happen successfully?
the popup message stated it did.

No worries - glad you got it working again.

I'm glad as well..... I was worried there for a moment.

So will I need to delete any .db3 files or anything that
the conversion created. I see an empty.db3 and
a gbpvr.db3

I plan on running the conversion again but after all that
worry I will wait til tomorrow..... I'd like my blood pressure
to go back down. Big Grin

Just delete gbpvr.db3 before you start the conversion.

Sub..... Think I may know what may have went wrong with
the DB conversion.

Should I have checked the box that says

" Copy GB-PVR data from source database to destination database. "

That top box was not checked.....

Yep, that'd do it. If you dont check that then you'll get an empty database.
