Do you have to run the config.bat twice to get 2 different line-ups?
And if so, how do you set it in GBPVR?

I-XMLTV supports more than two lineups. just SET NumberOfLineups=2 in the UpdateEPG.bat file that you use with I-XMLTV. I-XMLTV will then create two directories Lineup-1 and Lineup-2. Point each capture source to the appropriate Lineup file.

I tried 3-4 times to get it to work with 2 line-ups. I extracted the multi line-ups zip from the addons folder and set the updateEPG.bat to 2 line-ups. ran UpdateEpg.bat and entered username and password for each line-up. the dos
window closes after the last line-up is entered, but does not d/load the listings.

What am I doing wrong?

Everything works great on my other systems with only 1 line-up and capture card, but this one has 2 cards and 2 different line-ups, and there's no tvguide.xml created in i-xmltv folder for GB-PVR to use.

Thanks for the responses.

Is there a .xmltv folder in the I-XMLTV folder? If so, what files are in it? Also you need to use the xmltv.exe that is linked in the first post.

I had to use the "xmltv.exe"to get the listing, but it only d/load 1 of the 2 listings. Also nothing happens if I try to update the epg through GB-PVR.

It says it's updating but nothing happens, I let it go for 2 hours and when i came back it was still doing nothing.

I'm at work right now so i'll check tonight whenn I get home.

Cross posting here from the i-xmltv for sd thread:

I was wondering if someone might help me out here. I am setting up i-xmltv for SD for the first time. I downloaded the zip from the wiki and grabbed the latest xmltv.exe and xmltv.dtd from SourceForge.

Upon running configure.bat, I enter +0000, my SD username and password, and I receive an error 62. Since this is a vague EOF error, I commented out all the cls commands in the batch file to trace the problem. I run configure.bat again and this is the error I am receiving:

Quote:Service description 'http://docs.tms.tribune.com/tech/tmsdatadirect/schedulesdir
ect/tvDataDelivery.wsdl' can't be loaded: 500 Can't connect to docs.tms.tribune.
com:80 (connect: Unknown error)

I've tried this on two different machines on two different networks with the same results. I am able to ping from command line outside the network (tried with http://www.google.com) but cannot ping the server this wsdl lives on.

I've also reset the TCP/IP stack based on users with similar issues to no avail.

So, two questions:

1) Is the username the SD username or email address. I know GBPVR is using the username now, but was wondering if i-xmltv was still using the email address. In either case, I've tried both multiple times with no luck.
2) Is there perhaps something in my network configuration that may be preventing the connection to the wsdl?

Thanks for any help.

The username is your SD email address.

What does your xmltv.log say?

The problem seems to be when i-xmltv calls xmltv.exe. I tried to run xmltv standalone using xmltv.exe tv_grab_na_dd --configure and receive the same connection error.

What do the lineup files in the .xmltv folder say? They should start with lines like this:
Code:
username: username@isp.com
password: SDpassword
