Even with whurlston's Vista patch from http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=60 I still see this problem with EVR.

I can now add now that if I alt-enter usually the timeline returns. Also the very first time I alt-enter while it is in pause state and windowed state the video image does not resize and fill the screen until the pause is released.

mvallevand Wrote:Sure enough with VMR9 Custom it works, with EVR it is as I described.
I have an idea what is causing this difference. I'll try a fix soon.

I get the the following results with gbpvr.exe and pvrx2.exe both set to VMR9 Custom. All commands entered using keyboard during Live TV.

PVRX2.EXE

ctrl-b Nothing
ctrl-g Nothing
F1 Guide displays okay
ctrl-o Nothing

GBPVR.EXE

ctrl-b OSD displays okay (with blue band)
ctrl-g OSD displays okay (with green band)
F1 Guide displays okay
ctrl-o Signal stats display okay

Using EVR with PVRX2 gives same result as shown for PVRX2 above.

Hope this is useful.

I havnt used EVR on XP. The only EVR/XP problem related to aspect ratio was apparentely fixed with this patch that Whurlston found: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=59

Did anyone find a fix for the timeline not showing up while pausing/skipping in a recording?

I thought maybe the nativeutilities patch Sub posted in a different thread might fix this, but it didn't.

But... if i pause Live TV and then timeshift, the progress bar does display.

Seems to be a bug in what triggers the timeline to display while using EVR and watching a recording (not timeshifted TV). If the mouse is moved around, the timeline displays but pausing and skipping with the remote doesn't.

My MVP is showing the exact same thing. 1.1.5. Changing renderer had no effect.

I gotta bump this topic as it's starting to affect my marriage Big Grin (just kidding)

I'm now using VMR9 FSE and still not seeing the timeline while pausing/ff/rw. If i get off the couch and bump the mouse, it shows up for a couple seconds. BTW, I'm using an MCE remote if that's any help.

I have a slightly similar problem. When I change into the channel the guide at the bottom shows up. But then after that I can't make it come up unless I bump the mouse. If I pause and go into timeshift mode, it then works fine with the blue button.

I posted this on another thread and sub said he thinks it would be fixed on next release. However, what you describe sounds even worse than what I have going on BUT, it might be related.
