Problems with Live TV

Martin I have been waiting for a none mono release to come out and I noticed the thread on NMT integration the other day. I use my popcorn through GBPVR for everything i.e. Videos, music etc. So if there is no interference with the way those things play I would love to give it a try. I can take a snapshot of my machine as is and implement your none mono interface and give you feedback as an Alpha tester if you would like? thanks again...Ian

I still am months away from that stage plus I need to work with sub too. From the comments received so far I still am not even sure if people what to give up the mono features (crop, fit to screen, selecting audio pids) or if the delay was acceptable for comskip.

Your problem seems to have changed a bit during the course of this thread, with new version of GB-PVR etc. What is a current summary of the problem you're experiencing?

Live TV just freezes on the PCH, once this has happened I can't watch any content on the PCH, recordings, videos etc. If I do try to watch something the PCH screen goes to buffering then returns to the previous menu without playing the content. It isn't until I reboot the PCH that I can then watch videos, recordings and live TV.

When does it freeze live tv? Given you indicate that after reboot you can watch live tv, what was special about the original attempt to use live tv?

Sorry Sub, once I have rebooted I will enter the vicious circle again. Waiting for the freeze then go through the whole reboote process again.
