Hi
sub says dont struggle for more than an hour.. im still struggling after 4
After disk problems I had to do a clean install of XP and NPVR, and back with seemingly the same old problems !
NMT Syntax Check:
I used to have the NMT on a static IP (192.168.1.3) - it requests this from DHCP server
I changed it to static on 192.168.1.175
The router gives out IPs on the network starting 192.168.1.100
I can start NPVR on my PCH with the browser but not with the mvpmc share
I edited a username and password into the npvr.cgi file (on my Linux machine)
but that didnt work so I am back to:
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.150/mvpmc /etc/mvpmc -o username=root,rw
(xxx.150 is the ip of my PC)
I have guest account enabled
Ive tried Firewall on and off altho there are entries for NextPVR and NRecord.exe
any ideas ? Shall I send logs ?
Rory
