Yep that was it. With confirmations off my one acts like yours and remembers.

I have always used confirmation on and it has never worked, so by the sounds of it it's not worth installing the patch?

After accidentally deleting the better half's favorite movie, I'm one of those who needs the confirmation, but would really like the remember action.

Hmm, I just checked my build and its working correct when the delete confirmation is enabled. In case I cocked something up, like not building the release version before posting, I've rebuilt it and reattached. (I test debug builds only, then build release build and post patches)
