K.S. Wrote:@ApexHack: you're sure that postprocessing.bat is running at all? (you can easily check that with some logging at the beginning like "echo %time% postprocessing called >>postprocessing.log") if so, better try Clanky's script. use something that another videoredo user has running with no problems. else, your're in trouble... sorry mate Sad
Why would you think it wouldn't run besides a possible problem as indicated below? I'll try to add that line to help figure if it's running at all.

sub Wrote:There is some problem I'm looking into where Postprocessing.bat wasnt running on TS recordings where multi-record was enabled and a back to back recording was occurring at the end of the recording.

Hmm, OK this makes me feel a little better. I'm sure I saw multi-record checked in config., but it wasn't running on the first of the back-to-back recordings either.

I will deselect the multi-record option and see what happens. I will make sure to not record back-to-back for the testing.

Thanks a lot for everybody's help. Much appreciated.

Confirmed postprocessing.bat is running. The logs are full of lies though. It says it did stuff it didn't.

I deselected the multi-record option and tested. There was an _original.ts file in the originals folder but no cleaned file in the show's folder. When it does work it seems sporadic.

Any other ideas on what to look at?

So, GB-PVR is doing things correctly, but your batch file or 3rd party utilities have got bugs? I can live with that.

It's got to be these damn TS files. It's the only thing different from the other setup.

I recently tried checking "ignore transport stream maps" in VRD, but still no love.

I don't know what else to do. Maybe I'll try a newer version of VideoRedo.

First of all an apology to those reading this expecting a defined solution, sorry.

It seems to be working w/o a hitch now and I don't know why.

The first couple of recordings I tried after checking "ignore transport stream maps" in VRD failed so I thought I wasn't getting anywhere. I also still have the recording service running under the Administrator account with a password.

I set up a whole bunch of stuff to record today while I was gone and it looks like it processed every one correctly. Go figure.

Now I find that the computer isn't up to snuff when it comes to recording and comskipping three shows simultaneously, but that's a story for another thread.

Thanks to everyone who posted up offering help.
Cheers
