Help setting up an HVR-1800

ok, so I plugged it directly to the wall, ran the channel mapper, using the QAM.ini manager program, and still nothing. I checked WinTV for the frequency of one of the QAM channels it can tune, and it showed some frequency(can't recall the exact value). So I checked the QAM frequency list that's generated by the tool, and for the "center values" it's listed, so in theory, it should be finding a channel using that frequency, but it isn't...so, this doesn't make any sense.

So, is there anything else I can try? I'm probably going to end up installing Vista on this machine to get DXVA working...Just thought I could try and get the kinks with the tuner worked out before then.

Can you redo the scan, and post another set of config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log?

Redo it once? because there are three options to choose if I use the QAM.ini manager. So I'd get 3 scans, one for each.

I'll try the things in that thread, though I had already used the psi parser thing. I probably wont have time till tomorrow night or Saturday. I'll try to post those logs as soon as I have time to toy with the PC.

Ok, finally got around to doing it...I've just upgraded to vista 32, DXVA works with MPC-HC, but not quit with GBPVR, so that's something else I'll have to tackle, but here are those logs.
