Weather2 V1.0.0.0 Notes

No luck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I get to the menu without any errors at all but all I have is a blue screen. But, feel free to hit me or take away my weekly beer allotment but I never tried another skin before to see if it works. I went to default blue and of course that works!
So, I then went to Mayhem and it crashes when I try Weather2. So, Mayhem, Community WS and SD crash. Default blue works fine.

I will say that it's nicely done but I do hope things can be fixed to work in Community Skin.
Be out a few hours but if you need me to try something else, I will.

I am fairly sure if you check out the Community Skin forum there is a new version out that works with Weather2.

For Mayhem you could try copying the ..\skin2\blue\weather2 skin into ..\skin2\Mayhem\Weather2 to see if that works.

Jaggy, thanks for the info. I had already installed the latest version before attempting Weather2 but decided to start from scratch. I uninstalled it as well as Weather2. Reinstalled CS, then Weather2 and it does work! At least on system one. No luck doing this on system 2 yet but I'm getting close.

I just had a thought & I may be completely wrong, but mvallevand mentioned the other day you can only have so many (I can't remember how many) menu items on the main menu.
Do you have more plugins on system 2 than system 1?

The same ones on each system. Fatman_do is supposedly looking into the problem as I posted it a few days ago.

Really odd, since it works for me with both downloads, so I thought I had fixed it. Reproduce error again and zip and attach all logs please.

Oh, and for giggles, use the skin plugin and apply any theme (even same one), it may fix the menu thing.

Yep,that did it. Change the skin theme and back and presto! it worked.
It's a damn good thing I don't have to pay for this type of help as I could never afford it.

In one system yes. Doing the same thing in system 2, no. But I don't use system 2 for much more than testing and I'm not thru playing with that one yet. I did the same 'fix' for system 2 and it still crashes when I try to go into Weather2 or the Skin menu.
I'm thinking of starting that from scratch. However, it does work fine with the Blue skin on system 2.
I don't want to bother you guys with any more trouble. You've spent way too much time on my problems. It's working very damn good for me.

No problem really... the more bugs I fix now, the better

But I've only tested with the blue skin, so if it's CS related, I'm not much help.
