Reddwarf Wrote:Really? How would that work?Since 1.3.7 the encrypted dvb transport stream recordings contain enough information for offline decrypting to be possible (with tools like TSoffDec, OfflineCSA etc). You need to enable a flag in config.xml for multirecord: <BDAAllowMultiRecordOnEncrypted>. It worked for me. Searches on the decryption tool names will provide more info.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

I can't find the parameter <BDAAllowMultiRecordOnEncrypted>, where in config.xml is it supposed to be? Or can it be anywhere?

Or can it be anywhere? It can go anywhere in config.xml. You'll need to add it in (I put mine near the top). sub added it for me when he said it would be possible and easy to do. IIRC, the format is: Code: <BDAAllowMultiRecordOnEncrypted>true</BDAAllowMultiRecordOnEncrypted> I assume it survived into 1.4, but I last used it in 1.3.11

Thanks again, I'll give it a try and report back.

Question: Is there a quick way to find out which channels that are on the same mux? And can be recorded simultanously with multirecord...

Unfortunately no, since I don't have a Hauppauge card it won't run.

Reddwarf Wrote:Question: Is there a quick way to find out which channels that are on the same mux? And can be recorded simultanously with multirecord... I looked at the scan.cache file to identify the transponder/frequency for each channel. Then I ran an SQL query to change the display-name for each channel so that the name for each channel was prefixed with the transponderor freq. That way I would know what channels could be multirecorded when looking at the Guide. |
