Object reference error on client

Ok, I got the message. I'm wrestling with Vista, the server computer says the GBPVR (installation directory, not data/buffer directory) is shared, but none of the other computers (vista, xp) are allowed to access it.

It's like Vista, even though the settings say it's a shared drive, won't really share anything under the program files.

I'll keep chopping away at it.

Ah yeah. I keep forgetting about that since I turn off UAC. One way around that is to set up the same user (that you log into the client as) on the server and give them admin privileges.

I also turned off UAC. Problem still persisted.

I also do not have usernames set for either computer (server, client). Both log in without logging in.

Installation on a directory off root certainly did the trick though. Moving the app was easier than I thought it'd be.
