Ok, I was using that version yesterday, now I am upgraded to 1.46.28154.0 but to no avail.

sub, sorry to reopen this issue but while working with my setup I again upgraded the drivers for the HVR-4400 card to version 1.46.28154.0 (my system is very unstable with previous versions) and NPVR will not display any DVB-T programs. It looks from the logs that the signal does not lock. However, it works well in GBPVR.

Logs from both NPVR and GBPVR are attached.

Also, hitting "esc" key while whatching a show (DVB-S) in NPVR makes the system "not responding" and I have to kill the NPVR program. Stopping the show with ctrl-s works just fine.

Log for this is also attached.

I am using the most recent beta of NPVR 1.5.28 with the new .ts seek patch.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I did look through the logs, but unfortunately I couldnt see any obvious cause.

For the escape problem, it'd be worth seeing if you still have the problem with different decoders.

Ok, Thanks for looking. Have you tried the latest drivers in your setup? Are you able to reproduce the problem?

Will see if the behaviour is different with different decoders.

No, I've not been able to reproduce the problem here. DVB-T has worked fine for me.

I was previously using 1.46.28123, which was fine. I'm now using a pre-release driver (1.47.28194 with DVB-C suport) and DVB-T still working fine.

I actually suppect its something to do with the Network Provider on XP vs Vista/Win7. I'm on Win7, and using the 'Microsoft Network Provider'. You're on XP, so it uses the older 'Microsoft DVB-T Network Provider'.

So i guess the best way for me is to downgrade to 1.46.28123 which worked well with DVB-T. Is the new driver 1.47.28194 publically available and works for XP?

If that works, then yes - you might have to go with this option.

Unfortunately no it's not. I'm not sure if it works on XP or not.

sub, I have got a hold of driver version 1.47.28167 which seem to have resolved the problem with DVB-T, which is very good.

However I still have problem stopping watching TV which chrashes the application and totally locks up nrecord.exe. To me it looks like it happens randomly and both exiting with "esc" or ctrl+s. In order to kill nrecord.exe and release the device I have to restart the computer.

I did try different decoders as you suggested but the crashes happens anyway.

To me it looks like the same problem as chalkster99 reports in http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...ing-1.5.28

any thoughts?

When it happens again, post the npvr.log/nrecord.log and the dump file and I'll take a look.

Problem recreated. I had to "exit" TV viewing (from epg) 3-4 times before it happened and it actually happened after chaning to another channel. Logs are attached, however I did not find any dump file. Where should I look for that?

Also, as I wrote earlier, nrecord.exe process cannot be killed. Only way to get it to release the device is to restart the computer.
