It looks like the 'Recording service not running at recording time' issue is solved (at least for me, I only had it with recurring recordings where I kept only 1 episode). The old recordings get deleted and the new one appears properly on screen.

Clients are running well except for the inabilty to schedule recordings or view live video. Setup is much easier than before and showing the tuners and channels in the config screen is really a gr8 way of doing.
When making the setting in a client NPVR hangs after making the setting but does write the settings to the config file (on 2 different machines).

It appares to be hanging on my client too, but it just takes awfully long time Wink

Confirmation, that this works now. Thanks! Smile

When it is set to record, I noticed that the tray icon don't change color like it did with gb-pvr, I assume that is a bug ?

The status does show it recording though.

When you do the 'bulk map' option to map the channels, I noticed that if you select a entry, and go to pick a entry, if you use the scroll bar, the entry follows the scroll bar. You need to deselect the entry box so the scroll bar works normally. I assume that is a glitch ?

Just downloaded and installed the newest version of NPVR on my server and laptop, so client / server setup. Seems to work fine so far with my testing all working very well. Only issue I had so far is my server has a E:\ drive which I use for Live TV Buffer whereas my client doesn't. So the client was throwing an error. I've now changed this on the server to C:\ and client is working now.

Someone else mentioned this too. I'm not sure why this happens yet, but its on my list to investigate.

I probably well after we're out of beta. At the moment I dont want people going back to old betas, so I'm replacing the single NPVRSetup.exe on the server with each update.

Hi.
I just did an quick test of 1.5.28:

*.MPG files are still not handled correctly. Problem is, that NPVR add MPEG-2 Demultiplexer in graph. If i open such *.MPG recording (made and playable in GP-PVR 1.4.7), GB-PVR create graph correctly (like in Graphstudio) with "MPC - Mpeg Source (Gabest)" and all is working fine. WinXP old "MPEG-2 Demultiplexer" is not capable to play such files correctly.

From LOG:
2010-08-16 10:12:40.640 [DEBUG][1] Graph filter list:
2010-08-16 10:12:40.671 [DEBUG][1] - MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
2010-08-16 10:12:40.671 [DEBUG][1] - File Source (Async.)
2010-08-16 10:12:47.921 [DEBUG][1] PlaybackPositionHelper.StorePlaybackPosition(F:\MP\SAF\_videa\interlaced.mpg, 0, 0)
2010-08-16 10:12:48.015 [DEBUG][1] Stopping graph@3
2010-08-16 10:12:48.031 [DEBUG][1] Removing filter MPEG-2 Demultiplexer
2010-08-16 10:12:48.031 [DEBUG][1] Removing filter File Source (Async.)

Again, if i open it in Graphstudio/GB-PVR, no problem.
Rest of the video media i tested seems to be working OK.

Second problem i have with NPVR - i still cannot connect to any NPVR graph using Graphstudio, simply there is no graph to connect...

And last one:
I have virtual drive mounted as D: and real one as Z: (dont ask why, it is testing machine here). In this situation, if i hit DVD NPVR popup "No drive containing a DVD ..."
