Ok this should be the logs with the microsoft decoder selected. Also, I'm able to play files from the video library it just craps out when trying live tv.

To be honest, I have no idea. It definitely looks like its related to decoders though.

If you change the video renderer, does it help? I suspect not, but worth trying.

Indeed, changing the renderer did not help. I'm pretty sure I got it to display live tv at one time but was having problems getting my sound from the spdif connection. Now that I got the sound working this comes up. Its odd that it will play video from the library, even shows that have been recorded with GBPVR but then craps out when trying live tv. Whenever I get some more time I'll start from scratch again and reload windows.

I have no idea what the problem was but I removed all the decoders that I had installed manually, upgraded to the latest 1.5.36, and everything seems to work great. I'm using the Microsoft DTV video decoder and AC3 audio decoder. I spent the better part of Saturday afternoon getting everything else configured and importing the all the old recordings. I didn't even have to reload windows. Things look a little bit sharper to me using the EVR renderer on W7. Skipping seems to respond quicker too. I'm hoping this will correct the locking up issue I had before where sometimes skipping past commercials would cause GBPVR to stop responding. Great job sub.
