Hi Martin
Managed to catch the unhandled exception and log this time - stack empty while trying to reverse back up the menu as before. Hope they may be of use to you - I'm not expecting any fixes until after NPVR dot net 4 is released.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Thanks, I just did a lot of navigating in Reciva to see if the stack was an issue, and I didn't hit an empty stack so I think I fixed this might be fixed n the cleanup.

Hi Martin
For some reason the latest version of vlc (1.2.1) is refusing to start in web radio to play aac or ogg streams - get a measage to say so then throws a dot net exception. Looks as though there may have been changes to the cli - but I am not sure.

Could you please post your last played file with some non-working examples and I will have a look. If there are none there post your logs.

Last played attached - The only format that are playing are mp3 any of these that are aac ogg media player etc all fail to start vlc player - have even done clean install of vlc (latest installer from vlc)

Thanks

Yes thanks. WebRadio sends a command line option --no-qt-notification that 2.1.2 doesn't like for some reason.

Unfortunately I can't send you my version because it has a lot of WebClient stuff with XBMC that may or may not work in future version of NextPVR sub hasn't been clear what he is doing with WebClient. With XBMC it removes the VLC and WebRadio talks to XBMC to find out the now playing info.

Short term, I suggest installing an earlier vlc portable edition in parallel http://sourceforge.net/projects/portable...0Versions/ and pointing to it with WebRadio.xml

In the end I uninstalled 2.1.2 and went back to 2.0.8 which is working - I tried 2.1.0 but had the same problems (which is strange because I thought that that and 2.1.1had both worked previously) maybe a reboot cleared a stuck com surogate or something.

As Web Radio is about the only thing on the HTPC that uses vlc I'll put up with the complaints of sumo updater that it is out of date for now.

Thanks
