NPVR 2.5.9 - Current Patches and Getting Started info

It fixed a serious CPU usage problem I had with the previous patch.

Thanks Lao Pan, I do know I've missed a few lately. There'd been talk of a patch roll-up release of 2.5.9 (just the patches/fixes so far, not a true new release), but it looks like it won't be until after the holidays so I'll find some time this weekend and get the list up to date and post an R2 patch.

Sooo... I finally looked at the end of this thread after spending time looking at the first post, and I may have done some of the grunt work for you already, johnsonx42.

I went to all the posts you'd noted, and grabbed whatever file was updated therein. I also hit the couple of posts Lao Pan mentioned, in post #21. From that, I figure the most up-to-date files are:

NextPVR.exe 2012-12-17
NShared.dll 2012-12-20
NUtility.dll 2012-11-18
Unmanaged.dll 2012-11-26

I'm about to go copy them all to my installation, so let's hope I've got this right, and they all play nicely together.

The patch list is now completely up-to-date. An R2 cumulative update is coming very soon... sub is working on a few minor issues behind the scenes (like number 36), so I'll pause for a day and include any others he knocks out.

2.5.9 R2 update is up. This will probably be the final 2.5.9 cumulative patch, though more individual patches may be forthcoming. I may have an automatic installer available soon (courtesy of skl111), so feel free to wait for it.

I have my preferences set to display newest posts first so johnsonx42 link just brings me to the same post from where I clicked and then I have to go to
"Last" and start scolling down, which is a real bummer.

I've updated the link in my signature to point directly to post #1 rather than just to the thread; this might explain some previous puzzling inability for some users to find the patches. Thanks for the heads-up on that OTAJunkie.
