XBMC & Genre

Man.. that looks great!
I'm still not able to get it to work.
I tried stopping the npvr service and exiting the systray app.
I deleted my xbmc-genre-translation.xml and replaced it with Martin's
I deleted my Nshared.dll and replaced it with sub's
Rebooted machine
I set the colors in nPVR > Settings > Misc2 > Genre Coloring (I still need to do this right? Martin's file wont do that for me. Right?)

But I'm having the same problem as before.. The selections are not being saved in nPVR. Colors do not appear in nextPVR GUI nor in Kodi

You don't need genre colouring in NextPVR to have it work in Kodi.

Did you reset the PVR Database after installing NShared?

Yes, I reset the PVR Database in Kodi

Also to be clear, I add the xbmc-genre-translation.xml into C:\Users\Public\NPVR
And then I set the colors in nPVR > Settings > Misc2 > Genre Coloring with all services running
Right?

Once I make some color selections, I should see my color selections after I close the genre coloring window and reopen it. Right? My selections are gone when I reopen the window

These settings are only related to NextPVR's own TV Guide screen. Kodi uses it's own rules for the colors it chooses.

Genre color coding needs to be configured in Kodi not nextPVR
