Your problem looks totally unrelated to this thread, and more related to poor delivery from IPTV.

LiveTV jerky and stops even in the new version,
strange is when I see about Kodi 18.3 (and also 19.0 Alpha1)
everything works fine.

If you're talking about the web browser client then transcoding can always be a concern.

Using V5 190908 on the server and Nlite or NPVR New Client to playback live TV it still stops after about 8 minutes. However there is no longer the "Rolling File" error from the previous version.

Enclosed are parts of the Nrecord files after the "Client has disconnected" entry. Both tuners connected are DVB-T and give the same result if they change priority.

The device log has little data around the Disconnect time

Using version dated 190916 with Nlite.

Live TV started 12:08:27. Stopped 12:15:56

Logs attached for session. Later will repeat using NPVR New Client on RPi3

Playback started around 13:47:55 and stopped around 13:58:18

It looks like kodi stalled and disconnected but without the Kodi debug log that is speculation. Nrecord logging is spammy for diagnosing this kind of problem and at the same time really weak for UI client issues.
