Error at 58 minutes playback

So while watching JEOPARDY MASTERS (which is now erased) at the 58 minute mark of playback, would have the android playback app completely stop. Running on a Fire Cube client. Tried to switch to same hardware but now a KODI client and getting failure of playback at same location (58 minutes) of a 60 minute recording. 

Otherwise everything works fine. I erased the faulty recordings so not sure that I have any error file to look at. 

1). Should I make a series of 70 minute recordings and see if playback works fine?  

2) should I try remapping the recording directory to a PLEX directory, and trying playing recordings with PLEX?  

3). Should I not FAST FORWARD to the end of a recording to play it, as that can cause playback issues ?  

Have read in other discussions that each of these suggestions have been speculated on.

Without the problem files or logs it is impossible to say. Do you use padding though if you aren't already especially on IPTV since times aren't "real'. You never resolved your other posts on this issue so I don't expect it is new.

3. in general no, but it depends on the client. You didn't explain which android client you are using but if it is uidroid a bad timing file can cause skipping issues.

1) it might be my blunder. Trying to watch at the same time as recording. Time stamps might be getting incorrect. And could be the stream provider, as we only have two streams allowed.

2) Plex remap and playing made no difference.

3). It's udroid, and Plex, and
Kodi. Tried all three clients. Same or worse error at playback.

If you are watching "live" recording and are at the live point of the recording seeking can very well be problematic on many clients, nothing to do with timestamps.

If you have back to back recordings on IPTV then I do see a potential for truncated recordings with a limited numbers of streams, because of IPTV start and end time not matching the EPG.

Too much theory and not enough logs.

Thanks martin. Know you like the logs. But what you say makes sense. Will do more testing and then post a log in a couple weeks after we get back from travel.
