Using R5000-HD with Network Recorder Plugin

I just tried again and the file is still growing after 17 min. and counting. I wonder if caused the file to stop recording when I grabbed the last logs. Just to be sure, I am attaching the latest logs with NextPVR still recording from a program I initiated from the Emby EPG.

Those don't look like they have enough delay. That looks like an Emby test I asked for vlc or ffplay.
Sub's going to have to weigh in on whether live tv streaming is available without a rolling file from a tuner plugin. Martin

so would it still be helpful for me to try the test with vlc? Sorry I misunderstood before.

Yes with a delay around 6000 or so in the xml file.

I think I'm doing something wrong in vlc. I'm using open a network stream and put in the URL you gave me. But no video. I get:
Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL '192.168.1.16:8866/live?channeloid=7149&client=MB3.1'. Check the log for details. But the behavior in Emby is a little different now. Instead of getting a spinning circle in Emby when I try to tune a channel, it opens a new black screen and then I get a bigger spinning circle. After a minute or two it says: Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. In the new window the URL is http://192.168.1.5:8096/web/index.html#!...1dc863fa2b The NextCom app is also showing the program length stops now at 1 second.

That is the internal URL for emby which then opens the real URL to NextPVR.
Try from the command line (this is 64bit vlc) Code: "c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" "http://192.168.1.16:8866/live?channeloid=7149&client=MB3.1"Martin

Sorry for the delay. I got pulled away for a bit. So I ran the VLC command you suggested but got no video:

Then I tried it two more times and DID NOT get an error. However still no video. VLC opened and I got the VLC orange cone icon but nothing else. Latest logs attached.

Sorry, my NextPVR system crashed and I had to restart it. Then the NextCom app wouldn't work at all. I had to restore some things and I think the new delay setting wasn't set. Stand by. I'm getting thins stable and will try again with the delay set to 6000. Sorry for the confusion.

It took a minute for the VLC video to come up after running the command line VLC string but then WOW! It has video. And I have video in Emby too! Tried changing R5000 channels and it is bringing up the correct channel video. Martin you're a genuis! I just tried Emby thru my FireTV app and the video is perfect. Looks great. Channel changing and both live TV and record seem to be functioning as expected.
