Unfortunately there isn't an obvious cause shown there. If it was a repeatable problem, there is some extra logging that can be turned on to collect more info about what is happening with the stream. It generates huge log files though, so can't be left on all the time.

This happens every time and has been so for as long as I can remember. I'd be interested to know about the extra logging if it's no trouble.

I’m just out for a couple of hours, but will look up the registry setting name when I’m home.

Well........If it won't record longer that three hours. Set up two manual recordings.

Did you manage to find time to look into this for me?

Thanks but that's not a practical option for me as I record these shows as a recurring automatic schedule. I don't want to have to manually add it every day.

You'd need to create a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR\LogNetPush=2 (DWORD). This will cause the creation of a c:\temp\netpush.txt file with information.

Make sure to delete this registry setting afterwards - it'll fill your hard drive.

That would get to be a drag after a while.

I have the netpush file but it's too large to upload here. How can I get it to you?
