New Install - Stream Failed Transcoder Exited

This is not the same issue at all since this is not a transcoding issue and no transcoding setting will help. For whatever reason the ffmpeg in your docker doesn't like this.

I think there is an trouble with the initial start of the stream "Could not find codec parameters for stream 0" Emby and Kodi is direct play use direct streaming so ffmpeg is not involved.

If you have Emby running on Docker then the ffmpeg log from Emby might give us an idea of how their command line is able to handle this.

If all recordings are broken with Kodi (a better test then VLC) you'd need an appropriate thread with logs.

The image I am using for nextpvr is this; nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64table

My Emby runs in docker too - I can look at the Emby logs and show how is running. 

How would I take the thread logs from kodi?

Rather then continuing to use this thread you hijacked follow the wiki https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-help 

I suggest 

- Open Kodi
- Enable debug logging
- Initiate a recording
- Wait  30 seconds
- Play the recording

Then send Kodi debug logs to paste.kodi.tv and post your zipped NextPVR logs

I will open a new thread - the behaviour I am having looks the same as mine, hence, why I add my issue here. 

If you believe that is not, is not a problem to open a new thread. Apologies for the confusion and I don't have any intention to hijack this thread.

I guess it could be the same issue since you haven't posted logs, but I assumed since you posted in this thread, that you read through the last user's post and configured you live tv buffer and recording folders properly.
