Just got to try out the PlutoTV extra. Install went well with no errors including the EPG xml update. But when I tried to view 892 - Vevo Country in the Music category, a red error appeared at the bottom of the screen. I can't remember what it said.

I quickly tried my HDHR and locast channels. What I tuned to worked perfectly.

Did I muck up a step?

Did you install streamink for all uses and copy ffmpeg.exe as shown in the instructions. If so did you restart the server after installing streamink? It might not be in your modified path.

Dang! Didn't restart the service! Did that and all is in order.

Many thanks, Martin. Lots to check out!

If that works did you copy ffmpeg as shown in the instruction?

Martin

I believe I followed the instructions correctly.  I am able to stream using the link above.  I'm not seeing any of the Pluto TV channels in my EPG.  Any help would be appreciated.

When you went to the command line did you go the scripts folder and is there a folder called plutotv there? If so at the command prompt when you are in the folder what do you get when you type

python pluto.py install

Yes, do have "plutotv" folder.  Result of "python pluto.py install" command

C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\scripts\plutotv>python pluto.py install
Generating XMLTV file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\
Found 297 stations
Generating Extra file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\
Please update your NextPVR username/password

I see the generated pluto-xmltv.xml file the NPVR-data folder.

I should see these 297 new stations after an EPG update?  They are not showing up.

Attached in my postupdateEPG.bat (user/pass deleted).  Maybe I need to adjust this?  Sorry, it has been some time since I've worked with NPVR and am a bit rusty.

Ok I need to look at something but need to leave my hackintosh. I take it you aren't using admin/passwor or maybe port 8866?

I'm still using default admin/pass.  Port 8866 is available.

Hm I don't know what to suggest. If you type

curl http://localhost:8866/ -v

Is there a line something like

< Location: login.html?salt=c53ed4ef-60d7-4e4e-b5d7-ec9387750c8b
