Sluggish, and dark screen

Under Classic, I could watch a show, then hit stop (or esc).  Takes you back to previous screen.  The hit ESC button on remote or keyboard, and it takes you out a level to all Ready shows. That is now not working.  You sit on the screen showing all episodes of a show.

I'm pretty sure it's never worked that way. ie, if you clicked Recordings -> Friends -> played S06E03, then pressed ESC, it should take you back to Friends, with the same item selected, so that you can just press the down arrow and start the next show.

Instead of down arrow, you could hit ESC and be back at the list of all shows in Ready.  Now you can't.

1) keys stop working - open to menu, select Recordings. Hit esc, back to menu. Go back in, pick a show, get to list of episodes. HIT esc, back to list of shows. HIT esc to get back to menu, nothing. HIT enter to go back into episodes, nothing.

2) Sometimes beginning a show, first 30 seconds of show is dim, then returns to normal. Most times it's fine.

Two examples, never had these issues before this latest release.

Ultimately there were a lot of changes in these screen, and these are just some bugs that have crept in. Report any issues clearly, and I'll make sure they're fixed

I know there is a 5.2.5 patch posted for one scenario in classic and there is another scenario in pre-release already fixing another two in modern.

I checked this scenario with both modern and classic, and it worked fine here. I'm assuming this was something already fixed.

Do you still have closed captions enabled? I'm not sure what might cause this, but closed captions seems the most likely candidate.

I've attached the current version of NextPVRUI.dll. You can confirm for me if it fixes this specific issue.
