Yep, running 21.4. The exact message is "Please Wait - Initializing Channel".

And guess what.... the #¤''@£ö thing just locked up again! same old symptoms, locks up at the point when the OSD should show...

When "exit live tv", how do you do it? If you pressing home/esc/back it should make it to the main menu. I think 2.14 can still give the "Please Wait - Initializing Channel" when you press Stop (Ctrl-S).

Sub, <ctrl>-S does have the "Initialise chanel" symptom in 0.21.4,

Are there another other ways of stopping liveTV or have we found them all now [Image: smile.gif]

You are right, I have always used stop when exiting Live TV. I will have to train my thumb not to.

Thanks again..

Recent attempts to access the referenced source site for updated drivers have failed -- the resource appears to be down. Are there any other sources from which I can get the updated drivers?

(Curiously, Hauppauge's Support Pages show only older versions of the drivers).

Note that I am new to this world, so if these are well-known facts, forgive me.

The shspvr.com website seems to be down at the moment. It was working a few minutes ago, so just try a little later.

Thanks. Usually, I'm not that impatient, but it was my first try at it, so I didn't know if it was temporary or epidemic.

The updated drivers have made my Live TV much more workable.

Thank you for devoting your time to making a credible non-commercial entry in this arena. (and replying to all of these posts!)

Being a PVR 350 TV out user I experienced the following:

Since I installed Hauppauge 1.18.21.22252  drivers I started to notice some sound/video sync problems I did not have before.
Just upgraded to 1.18.21.22254 and looks sync is better now. In the change version file there is no mention about sync issues being addressed though.

I am sorry to say that it didn't work for me. I thought it did at first. It seems to be working for a longer time now. Before, it froze immediately, now I can watch TV for a while. Sometimes I can get OSD on without any interference, other times it freezes the system. As an example, if I flip through channels, the system will almost always freeze within a minute :-(
