Changing channels (Remote Control)

I downloaded the serial control utility file ( directv control ) from http://www.dtvcontrol.com/ , as well as the command line utility that is found on the same page. I then went into the gbpvr config and directed the .exe Channel Plugin to the command line utility file.
I entered " #{channel} " into the parameters box, without the quotes. Then started gbpvr and also started the directv control program (running at the same time).
I guess the command line needs to have the serial utility running to be able to control the box. Best of luck, took me about two months to get this right, but off and running now. Also may want to contact cheval, as he is writing a new program for serial control of the D10
