Here is the file again:
It didnt let me load it because of the following line:

<channel id="55294"><display-name lang="en">A&E</display-name></channel>

"A&E" needs to be escaped to "A&amp;E"

I tried it but only got the channel info and not any program data. I can see the channels on the guide, but no info.

I gave it a shot. I even wrote some Au3 script to automate inserting favorite channels from an excel file I made from my tv_grab_na_dd.
about 50% of channels give me "no match found", 25% are the wrong ones, and maybe 25% give me correct listing.

I could live without few (or even a lot, if they are the less interesting ones) channels.
I could live with some manual, initiation step.

But this is too much - I don't think the Titan TV is going to work for Canadian users, at least not ones that use local Cable providers. Maybe it's different when talking about OTA or SAT.

On the other hand - when I go to Yahoo Canada - I get the correct listing and my EPG.

I saw here people mention something about Y! but also mentioned an applicaiton. Is this project going? do I have to install something?

I am working on extracting the lineups/schedules from Y! Go for TV. I am alble to retrieve them and just have to output the xml file. It also looks like I may be able to force an update but I have not tried it yet. What is your provider id? I'll run a test with it.

Am I missing something or only labs.zap2it.com will close? From the forums it says that the Zap2it TV Listings are not being shut down.
We could scrape from tvlistings.zap2it.com. When you register you can get six hour grid as well as the show description, that means only 4 requests a day.

We would need more info than what is on that page for each show, so add 1 hit for each show per six hour block.
