DH,

Please check you upload. I don't have either of the "new releases" or the "check box for checking for program updates" in the options menu. It is also in an endless "do you want to update" loop because of it I think.

Thanks

As I've said before, there is always an oops when I release a new version :o The version I posted to GBPVR was correct, but the main download site on SageTV, which generates the update notification, was not correct. Good catch and it is now fixed. I also did a MINOR fix, I forgot to turn back off the log file generation, so I did that for 2.2.4.1.

Also, I should mention that you need to do a database update (NOT a reload, just the 10 minute version) to get the "New Release" genre to show up.

Thanks! Big Grin

Nice stuff!!! I noticed one little thing, I don't think it is intentional. When I selected "New Release" and surf around looking at what is listed, if I view a Television Season episodes for example "24", and decide to escape back to continue looking at other "New Releases" listings it kicks me back to "My Queue" instead of staying on "New Releases". I tried it listing "Television" and it does not behave this way.

Nope, not intentional. I know why it does this and I didn't think it would matter, I didn't consider new release TV shows. I'll put out a fix in a bit.

OK, very curious. When I look at the logs I see no errors. But for every genre you are consistently seeing fewer movies than I do when I run the program (se attached your databasebuid log versus mine, my page counts are all higer than yours). Please use internet explorer and mozilla to open the following links and let me know what the total page count is (and if it is different between the two programs):

http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=296&vt=tg&ftr=false (mine is 15, you show 11)
http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=306&vt=tg&ftr=false (mine is 30, you show 23)
http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=371&vt=tg&ftr=false (mine is 5, you show 4)

If you confirm this for me, it might be a netflix server issue and I'll report it to Netflix. But short answer is I don't think it is a problem with my program. Heck they may have different instant view movies vailablebased on your region of the country.

OK here it goes with Mozilla:

1 I get 12
2 I get 23
3 I get 4

...and IE:
1 I get 12
2 I get 23
3 I get 4

Could it be something i have set-up with Netflix?

I mean heck, the program rocks...i only miss a couple thousand movies!!!!! Wink

But seriously...this program rocks!

Let me know if I can do anything else!

If you haven't yet, please rate my app on the netflix website: http://www.netflix.com/AppDisplay?id=212...gl-it-2121

I'll report the info to Netflix, you shouldn't be seeing fewer movies than the rest of us. Not sure what is up...I may need your username to give to them. I'll e-mail you if I do.

Thanks for the kind words and the rating! I'm trying to get a higher rating than microsoft's media player Netflix program. Smile

I have reported your problem to Netflix and hopefully I'll get a repose from them soon.

Dang near perfect now. But did you notice if you have New Releases sorted by user rating and you escape back out of a episode listing, it reverts back to alphabetical instead of sticking in the user rating listings where you leave off?

Hey Snooze Smile

I can always count on you to keep me on my toes!

Yeah, that is an unfortunate function of me adding the esc functionality before I added in the episode feature. It does that no matter what genre you are in. The esc key was designed to take you home (as if you restarted the program) I don't have anything built in to return you back to where you started after looking at episodes. I think I could fix that relatively easily. I'll add it to the to do list and will get to it in a few days.

Funny that I never noticed that, I guess it is because when I open up the episodes list I stay on it for a while and don't really go back and forth.

Thanks!
