It keeps doing .mpg instead of .ts .. maybe your code is disregarding the given extension? I'm stumped.

using the latest, GraphRecorder v2.11 and GBPVR v.1.4.7

.. and after a reboot, it decided to start working. Smile

sometimes after a channel change, it kicks back to the main menu after a few seconds, but I can live with that until native HD-PVR timeshifting is supported. thanks for the help all!

Good work carpeVideo. Like sgilani I find this works great with the HDPVR. It's fast too, great for live tv on the PC and NMT.

I did have to copy DirectShowLib-2005.dll to plugins\common or it reports DirectShowLib-2005 not found.

One thing I find is that if I cancel a graphRecorder recording from the HD-PVR instead of leaving the ts file, it gets replaced with a tiny ~100K file.

Hi All

I'm trying out the GraphRecorder plugin on the advice of other HD-PVR users. I made a graph that seems to work OK, when I play it in Graphedit a file is created that contains the video and audio I would expect (the graph looks exactly like the one in post 322). It also seems to work when I select a program in the TV Guide and then press "Watch", but when I try to schedule a recording via the Web server (which is how I schedule all my recordings) it immediately puts up a red "Recording Failed" message. There are no entries in any of the logs when this happens. I have put the same graph into 3 places in the "External Via Graph(A)" tab, Graph-Medium, Graph-High and Graph Preview to Timeshift. Switching back to Analog Hi-Def capture device allows scheduling recordings via the Web. Any suggestions?

I don't see any issue in the logs as you mentioned, has anyone else out there tried scheduling a graphRecorder source using the EWA with success?

Are you scheduling for a future recording or one that would start immediately'?

I tried this last night and the default 1.4.7 EWA did schedule recordings for me and I was able to watch and play them while recording. It wasn't perfect the Recording Service tried twice but this might be because of my version of EWA more than GraphRecorder.

Thanks guys, further expts show that I'm having this problem with either GraphRecorder or Analog HiDef, so I'll post in the main support forum. Thanks for your help!
