if you put it in that folder that is what the line should real, otherwise change C:\Program... to whateve folder you installed it in.

Also, I update my EPG daily because new information appears relatively frequently and changes happen.

And there is no difference between: "Get EPG" and "Download and Parse Listings?"

GBPVR will automatically call updateEPG.bat nightly.

-Oz- Wrote:The * will be appended to the end of the title for shows that are new. I just checked an xml file and it is being appended so it should appear in the tv guide. This utility will not add the air date or ep number to a visible portion of the tv guide but it is in the xml. If there is interest I can probably add that to this program.

has this by any chance been added since this reply?? (The showing original air date in the description somewhere)...

if not could I maybe request this feature?? it is a great piece of info to have to double check if the program is new or not... the * by the show is perfect too, makes setting up recordings so much easier through the Web Guide.. but maybe if you could make an option to show original air date in description would be awesome...

thanks alot, love this plugin...

OTA Question:
Now that Yahoo actually has my OTA digital listing available via their website, should that be available thru your YApi2XML utility (I ask because I don't see the new option in the provider list based on my zip code -- 37015)? When I select it from their website (and choosing "Rabbit Ears (Antenna)"), it lists the [only] service provider as "Broadcast TV TVGO Services - Nashville - OTA Broadcast" (which indeed shows the proper OTA digital channels). Just curious -- would be great if this showed up as an option -- I'd FINALLY be able to get both my Dish Network channels and my OTA/ATSC channels in teh same program guide!!

Or perhaps OTA is still not supported thru their API (as mentioned on the wiki)....?

Thanks!

If they have added the OTA listings to Go4Tv then this app will retrieve them. I suspect they have only added them to the website though and not the Go4TV app.

Hello,

After I downloaded YApi2XML last weekend, the past few days I haven't been able to get it to work. I am getting the following error: Schedule file not complete; All retries failed. It tries for five times and stops. My zip code is 20904 - Using Comcast non-digital. Any advice?

I've attached my logfile.

Thanks!

Could be an issue with the server. It's happened in the past from time to time

I keep getting an error and have not had schedules for a week or so...

Here is the error.

Code:
Error: Cannot determine schedule file. 3 matching files found.

it has downloaded the new schedules file and it unzips it to 125megs and it is filled with current show information but it is not formatted to xml so is unusable.

is there something wrong with my setup or ?

Nevermind:

I deleted the 3 txt files and it appears to be processing the schedules...

Thanks for a great plugin.

Hi, all. . .I'm a TV hound and like a lot of you, I was excited to find YAPI2XML. . .I find the information provided here second to NONE! I use the XML with a PPC program called Pocket TV Browser. . .those of you with a Palm or PPC likely know all about this wonderful program. . .again, this does EVERYTHING I want it to except one thing. . .display the information in MY time zone. I understand the need for uniformity, hence the use of GMT. . .however, is there a command-line option that I can use to make the data default to my time zone? Help me, please if you would. . .
