ok, guys, give it another go. i have re-added the current track-panel.

just try it! and report, if you have the same problems with the panel: sometimes it jumps a few seconds....

next step will be the database.

I'm not having any luck to get the CDPlayer to show up on the Plugins tab within the Config utility. Loaded the .dll's into Plugins directory and the skin info in the skins directory. I'm missing something simple but can't figure it out.

Thanks.

does the config-app take long to start? do you have internet-connection while launching the config-app?

can you post your config.exe.log-file please? sounds strange....

I'll check the config-app startup time tonight.
Yes I do have an internet connection while launching the config-app.
Do I need to change logging levels to produce the config.exe.log?
Right now in config app logging level is set to "error" will this give you what you need?

Thanks and looking forward to getting this plugin up and running.

Config-app does not seems to take long to load.
Here's the config.exe.log file.

quite clear: you seem to be missing the "Freedb.dll" in the plugins-directory. you need to copy ALL .dll's to the Plugin-dir. the easiest way is to unpack the zip-file in the gbpvr-directory.

remember: cdplayer.dll, freedb.dll and ripper.dll must be in plugins-dir. if they are there they seem to be broken...the you should download the plugin again.

hope that helps!

if not, let me know....

Dottore,
Thanks for getting back to me. All .dll's were in the plugin directory and I down loaded twice thinking a bad file.
What actually worked was moving Freedb.dll and Ripper.dll to the gbpvr root directory. After that the plugin showed up in the config app.
Is this normal or is something messed up in my system structure?
Looks like it's working so now I'll get a chance to play with it.

Thanks again.

i've re-packed the zip, should work now. in a few minutes or maybe hours i'll release the version with the database.

thanks for testing!

ok, here's the db-version:

http://www.sitecomposer.de/cdplayer.zip

you need following database to make it work:

http://www.sitecomposer.de/cdplayer.mdb

copy the file to the gbpvr-installation-directory. i have not packed it, so you can download the plugin without having to overwrite an existing database. i'm thinking of packing the whole thing in an installer...

please try it! insert a cd, start the plugin, exit from the plugin and re-enter. then take a look at the logfiles and tell me, if it's writing to the db or not (something like "CD: db found" or so....).

thanks
