New Skin System: The Collection

I'm not sure but, I think tkgafs idea was to run it on the PC as a convienience then manually effect the changes on the MVP.

I have a feeling that's the only way it's going to work, not necessarly a bad thing considering the ease of changing your screens as the mood strikes.

when I've got this skin enabled, and I select the list of my recordings, and I select the last recording with my mouse, it's nearly impossible. Many times it will select the recording before that. With the cursor keys there is no problem.:confused: :confused:

Yes, I have seen this. I think the problem is with the plugin, not really the skin. In the skin I do change the layout of the list. The plugin picks up my change and renders the list correctly, however the plugin's mouse selection region seems to be uneffected.

My change was intended to improve the usability, I could regress and put the list back the way it was but wouldn't it be better if the root problem were identified and resolved.

In the mean time you do have a work around, use the keyboard for that last one.

By the way, it works well with a remote control.

I've found some help and so work has started on a plugin. I see this as the first step in resolving the issue with the MVP.

I got my first error message from GBPVR just a minute ago. That's progress!

I am very impressed with this skin series, as well as the apperance app. I am a %95 MVP user, and it would be great if it could be made function via MVP.

Just to alleviate any MVP concerns, attached is the first screen shot of the Appearance Manager plugin.

With all the work on the Appearance Manager, I have been forced to let the skin itself slide. I'm going to take some time off from the plugin and work on the skin awhile. The attachment illustrates some of the new directions The Collection will be taking.

What you see below is a new, more sophisticated skin effect on top of a brown background. Of course the background could be any color you wish and the effect will morph to that color.

Also, I am adding support for the VAPanel and hope to include it in the next release.
