Hi Icon matching is designed to work for any source location, aka Website or folders so you should know if it worked. Assuming you 'don't' publish to GBPVR then you will not affect your icons, I wrote CLT to allow people to work with icons before they commit them to GBPVR.

Folks,

I've completely re written the matching code, I'm getting about 95%, it's only the really wacky channel which are missed, anyway here it is :

http://www.systemshark.com/CLTSetup_V3.5.zip

any feedback would be great....

if the feedback is good, I'll update the WIKI

Gave it a shot. I'm not sure if it's just a United States thing or what, but it didn't work at all.

I didn't get a single channel recognized, even "standard" channels like ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, National Geographic, TLC, MTV, VH1, etc.

On the plus side, it seemed to pick ALL icons from the get-go (which I don't recall it doing with the older version), but with the results I got, it would have been faster to download the logo pack from the wiki and choose that folder.

The results would end up being the same - I have to sort through all the icons and manually link them to the proper channel.

No problems at all sending you the database, just need to know what file(s) I need to send. I understand some of the terms, but "database" is something I've seen mentioned about several things around here, so I wanna send you the RIGHT things Big Grin

As for listing source, I use Zap2it. I'm not certain that it matters, but I set up my own Zap2it account before I realized that sub provided the means to create one within the Config.

I've downloaded the latest (3.5) version and I'm getting the same error.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Did you install the Assemblies first before running the program? I encountered the same error myself, but I didn't realize I had to install the Assemblies package.

It should be the only other option to select in your Start Menu. I found that I had to uninstall the program from Add/Remove programs first, reinstall everything, run the Assemblies installer, THEN run the program for the first time

The database file is gbpvr.db3 or gbpvr.mdb depending on which which you are using. Both files is fine.

It's normally in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\

Drewkaree is right you need to run the MS Assemblies first but you only need to run this once..., I've working on a installer which runs these first but the MS install package is a pain to work with, I'm hoping to have it fixed the next release.
