I'm having the same problem. I also ran the setup, and set the correct paths. Here's what's in the error.log:

Code:
12-27-2006 10:17:20 PM - ParseComskipLog - Conversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid.

I'm using Comskip 0.79.66. Here is the comskip.log file for the video I was trying to process:

4zm4r3d02,

What does the actual comskip txt file contain? I have only been testing using my Comskip version/config, so I didn't think that other versions would output differently. I have made some changes to the code that should fix that problem.

The new UI is pretty much done. I created separate windows for the Status screen and the Options screen, as well as making the options more intuitive. Since this is a holiday weekend, I should have some time to finish up the next release.

Unfortunately, I did not save the comskip.txt file for that recording. However, I just did a test recording, ran comskip on it, then tried comcut. I had the same error, and have attached the logs as well as the comskip.txt file.

I am using comcut version 1.0 build 9(second public release), and comskip 0.79.66.

ComCut 1.1 build 73 is now available.

Changes:
+ Completely new UI
+ Restructed options to be more intuitive
+ Option to delete Comskip files
+ Option to run Comskip if log missing, corrupt, or always
+ Option to display error dialog boxes (in addition to error.log)
* Should have better handling of possibly corrupt / different style comskip logs
* Exiting the application now kills any running process and exits immediately
* About link now directs to the new Comcut homepage

To-Do: I see two main options that should be added:
1. Manual/scheduled batch processing (process all recordings in all subdirectories)
2. Trancoding video to AVI/Ipod/other video formats

Which one should I work on first?

My preference would be the batch file.

Thanks for an excellent utility.

We have a couple of new PSP in the house now so I would like to see the transcoding option first. I can always manually run ComCut on just the shows that I want to put on the PSP.

Please report any bugs or problems you have.

I don't have any experience encoding for PSP, so I'll have to research that a bit. I'll probably work on adding the batch mode while I study up on encoding for PSP/Ipod.

If possible I would also like to see encoding for the Creative Zen Vision W added. I have been using these and they work on our unit.
