ZProcess: Getting it to use mencoder

I downloaded mencoder using the link on Wiki and put it in the program files as listed. I have pointed ZProcess to Mencoder and I am using 855. I will post logs later today.

So no news is good news I take it?

For those still having troubles with using MEncoder...

I do not necessarily have a solution for you. It's supposed to work right off, and if it doesn't, I have to suspect something is occurring that I haven't anticipated.

If mencoder and mplayer are located in their default directory, then ZProcess should be able to see them, and then add them to the list of preferred transcoders...

If you have found a solution, let me know...

I don't know if I should just pretend it didn't happen, or act as sheepish as possible, but I made an error that 'broke' the MEncoder code. I believe it's been in the program for a few versions now.

This bug is NOT related to those having trouble seeing the Mencoder.exe, and ZProcess not adding it to the preferred transcoder list.

Basically, when someone tries to have Zprocess transcode on the fly with MEncoder, there's nothing... blackness... and then a crash... Still don't know why. It doesn't happen with ffmpeg.exe

Till now, I have been writing code, testing it on my Wife's machine, including her MVP. It's not all that conducive to letting me do full tests all the time...

Tomorrow, I'm running out and buying my own MVP. It's the excuse I've been waiting for. I hope to have the code straightened out by next weekend.

Hehehe... Well the major problem was simply the new '*Trans2MVP' Target Type (not the profile) that had my favourite presets for MVP transcoding...

Seems I was sending something crazy to MEncoder, and MEncoder crashed the MVP...

The problem could have been fixed by using any other Target Type. Now, you could download the newest from my sig or the wiki and then click *Trans2MVP again... (Remember to save)
