Ok Sub I have a few logs and stuf here:
logs.zip contains the logs + (non edited) edl file. Now I see no blocks in the progress bar.

logs2.zip contains the logs + modified edl-file, with this combination I see the blocks in the progress bar but nothing happens.

I realised I still have the .txt files in the dir aswell I hope it doesn't confuse things.

Unfortunately I cant tell from the logs due to a lack of useful logging messages in that area. I've added some more messages to help, but I cant supply it as a patch, so we might have to defer this until testing of the next release begins.

That should be ok. It'll use .edl files in preference to the .txt file.

Ok, afaik switching off edl in config.xml should do for the time being, it always workedSmile .
I guess this is about the edl-file format, what about the other problem = not skipping when the show starts with a commercial, or are they related?

Do you need an option to set the first frame number of the first commercial to be largen then a certain value (say 100) to solve this bug?

That's what I am currently doing ...

If we pull up a show where it's not working:
1) Hit <stop> on MVP remote.
2) Go into computer room.
3) Pull up the comskip text file, change first value from 1 > 100
4) Save file and go back to living room
5) Restart... works.

Seems something that can be automated, if you don't mind 3 to 4 seconds of the first commercial

I’m pretty sure this is the same auto-skip issue that was introduced in v96.xx.
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=96
This time,,, It acts like -anything- that requires horsepower during the video start causes a timing problem that shuts down auto-skip for the remainder of the video.
