Bummer. There is a function in the threading class that is supposed to let you override the machine's locale setting for the particular thread. I told it to use US English for the weather download. Obviously that didn't work.

Can you try the attached version and see if it fixes the problem with commas for the decimal indicator?

Thanks

Sorry Jeff

Weather still crashes with a comma as separator. Using a dot works fine.

Try this version. This time I set my system settings to Swedish and tested the fix. Prior to the fix it crashed and now I believe it works. If you confirm this I'll post in on the wiki site.

It still crashes. Try this.
In Control Panel / National and Language settings
Just to the right where you select language, there is a button saying Modify or similar. Press that button and in Numbers tab change the Decimal Character value from dot to comma. Then you would be able to reproduce the crash.

Hope this helps to identify the problem.

I did this and it works for me.

Can you install the PDB file into the weather plug-in directory so I can see what line it is crashing at. Hopefully there will be an error logged in the gbpv log file when it crashes.

I don't see anywhere where PVRX2 is logging an error form weather. Is it crashing GBPVR? Can you capture a screen shot next time it happens. I am testing by setting my regional settings to Swedish and setting the plug-in to display the weather in SI units. It is working fine for me.
